The Colitis-Crohn Association was established on 15 March 1989 and currently has approximately 5,500 members. The primary bowel diseases it focuses on are Crohn's disease, Ulcerative Colitis, microscopic colitis, and irritable bowel syndrome. However, the association also works on a wide range of related bowel conditions. The Association of People with Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis in Attica, Greece, was founded in 2006 by a group of patients to address the isolation of those affected by these conditions. The IBHDYD Association, founded in Istanbul, aims to promote cooperation and solidarity among IBD patients, protect patient rights, share advancements in treatment methods, and address their concerns. Its objectives include disseminating accurate information on IBD diagnosis and treatment, providing contemporary medical care, identifying and solving patient problems, conducting educational programs, supporting scientific research, and collaborating with local and international IBD organisations. The association also organises scientific events, publishes materials, and offers financial and moral support for IBD-related education and research.

CCNZ - The Crohn’s and Colitis New Zealand Charitable Trust

Crohn's and Colitis New Zealand is a charitable trust established to provide support, advice, resources, and information for those affected by Crohn's disease and Ulcerative Colitis. Founded by individuals with these conditions and medical specialists, the organisation is led by Dr. Richard Stein, chairman, along with seven trustees and four medical advisors. Since its formation in 2010, the trust has grown to include support groups in 13 regions across New Zealand, working together to offer fellowship, education, and participate in fundraising efforts.
