EFCCA joins WHO Civil Society Commission

We are proud to announce that EFCCA has been accepted as a member of the World Health Organization (WHO) Civil Society Commission!

This marks a significant step in our commitment to global health advocacy and collaboration with WHO on key health priorities, including health promotion, gender equity and primary health care..

Following a rigorous application process, EFCCA will now contribute to working groups focused on promoting good practices in civil society engagement and shaping WHO policies. This partnership will help drive progress towards health-related Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and universal health coverage.

EFCCA took part in its first official activity as a member of the WHO Civil Society Commission, joining the Commission´s General Assembly held online on 25 March 2025. Represented by Isabella Haaf, the meeting focused on setting up thematic working groups based on members’ interests, which had been gathered through a survey ahead of the event.
