National Association of Crohn’s and Colitis Trinidad and Tobago
The National Association of Crohn’s and Colitis of Trinidad and Tobago is a non-profit organization geared towards promoting awareness about Inflammatory Bowel Disease IBD (both Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis) in Trinidad and Tobago. Another major objective of the NACCTT is to assist persons living with these illnesses through means of education and advocacy for better service and treatment.
IBD is a debilitating disease, because of its embarrassing symptoms most of those diagnosed with it choose to suffer in silence . The NACCTT is the only organization in T&T that supports patients with IBD. We are here to let sufferers know that they are not alone in this battle. Since 2013 we have created an area of interaction for IBD patients where they can share experiences and concerns on living with IBD in a safe and private environment.
