Since 2008 EFCCA is engaged in creating links and possible co-operation with worldwide sister organisations. The first concrete outcome is the co-design and launch of the First World IBD DAY on 19TH of May 2010.

IBD organisations from: USA, Canada, Brazil, Uruguay, Australia agreed in joining force for raising awareness on IBD and give IBD people more visibility all over the world.

The initiative is growing, New Zealand joined the group and the second World IBD Day  took place recently with many initiatives taking place in all the involved countries.
